What Bodybuilding Supplements Do I Really Need

With the countless supplements available on the market today it can be very confusing knowing what bodybuilding supplements to take on a regular basis. Some supplements are better than others, we have created a short list of the best types of supplements that you can take to increase your muscle mass and not waste your money.

The problem with eating good quality protein to get all our 9 essential amino acids is that there are countless factors that work at preventing our bodies from getting the full and well-balanced supply of these important amino acids. These factors range from hormones fed to beef cattle, pollution caused from burning fossil-fuels, and using too much fertilizers in agriculture, which gets aggravated with habits like smoking and drinking.

When you can provide your body with its optimal nutrition, by adding amino acids it'll help to replace those amino acids you lost, promoting well-being and your vitality. Your amino acid pool is your entire amount of free amino acids available in your body.

An average adult amino acid pool amounts to about 120 to 130 grams. When we consume protein, this protein then gets broken down in our gastro-intestinal tract into individual amino acids where it is then puts itself back together to form a new protein. This rather complex process is called your protein biosynthesis, where your entire amino acid pool is completely transformed, or "exchanged" up to 3 or 4 times a day. This means your body needs to be constantly supplied with more amino-acids, some by protein biosynthesis, some by your diet and some through consuming suitable dietary supplements.

If you're over 30 years old, it would be a very good idea to add a T-booster to your muscle building supplement stack. Unless you are doing something to promote higher overall testosterone levels, you should expect your T levels to start declining when you hit your late 20s.

Fortunately, a good natural testosterone booster supplement can help you regain your previous testosterone levels and possibly make them even higher than they were before, making you start to feel stronger, fitter and faster. There are only two ways that you can increase your T levels.

The first option is taking synthetic testosterone directly into your system, which is a much more dangerous route putting you at risk for a wide variety of side effects. Because it is a non-natural method, your body can shut-down its own production of T, which means when you stop taking this synthetic testosterone, your blood concentration of your own T-levels will plummet.

But natural T-boosters using products made from select natural herbs which can enhance your normal T production currently taking place, will also help to elevate the blood concentration levels of your own T levels by improving these production capabilities.

There are other supplements that have proven to be more effective at achieving muscle gain, like ecdysterone for which well over 50 different studies have concluded one resounding agreement: Ecdysterone is completely safe and it will improve every bodily function without causing any side effects.

Ecdysterone will drastically increase your lean body mass, it'll increase your endurance, stimulate your metabolism, improves your nerve function and will enhances erythropoiesis (development of all mature red blood cells (erythrocytes)), decreases blood sugar, reduces adipose tissue, is safe and effective, improving every bodily function, including your brain and your liver function. It has been proven safe and effective for men, women, and teenagers.
